Come join us 2 hours of fun and frolic from September 21st - 25th which includes storytellling, puppetshows, folk paintings and live demonstrations.

Weekend Programs - August 29th and 30th

Please find below the schedule of the weekend program:
The weekend programs are open to everybody this weekend (members and non-members).

The activities will be based on following two books.
Saturday August 28th: 10.30 am to 12.00 pm
Mini the hippo learns to jump
Will include story telling, exploring science concepts of gravity, weight, force and simple craft

Sunday August 29th: 10.30 am to 12.00 pm
What shall I make?
The session starts with a story about shapes followed by a treasure hunt and an art activity.

Changed Format of weekend programs

As part of our plans to enrich members and non-members with our programs we are changing the format of our weekend programs.
We are introducing a novel concept called "Concept in a box" which esentially is a self guided age appropriate activity kit. The activities will include literary, art, craft and lateral thinking exercises.

August 15th - Holiday

August 16th
Ages 3 to 5:

Ages 5 to 7:
Activities based on the books - " TONKA - If I could drive a Tanker Truck"
Fluttery Butterflies

Ages 8 to 10:
Activities based on the following topics - Tintin Comics
Dancing Bees
Force and Energy

Art Kits: For all ages
Paper Collage
Vegetable Carving and stamping ( for ages 6+)

Each participant can choose a maximum of two activities every session.

Art @ Out of the Box

Art sessions happen every Sunday morning at the center. Qualified art professionals come and help children on a self exploratory journey to transform ideas and techniques into works of art. There will be a session for children ages 6+ starting on Thursdays and a batch for adults starting on Wednesdays between 1 pm to 3 pm.

Reading Program @ Out of the Box

REaD Program @ Out of the Box for students ages 3 to 16.

We started our first session of Reading Program in July. This level based 3 year program will be implemented in modules of 3 months each. Small class sizes of 7 - 10 help us customize the program to suit the needs of every student. Following are the different age groups that we have sessions going on for currently

• Ages 3 to 5
• Ages 5 to 7
• Ages 8 to 11

Evolving Minds Science Program for 2009

This 8 month hands on science program is designed to make the imagination of children come true. Hand on science experiments, visual and audio aids, interactive learning sessions are some of the techniques that will be used to bring out the creativity in every child.
Program runs from June 2009 - January 2010 and is for the age group of 6-14.

Summer Program at Out of the Box

We had a very exciting and packed summer at Out of the Box. WE had over 150 children participate across the 3 sessions.Calligraphy, Theatre Magic, Adevnture in Science, Art Start, Kreative Kamp for the 3-5 year olds were some of the programs that took place in summer. Thanks to all the wonderful feedback and encouragement received from our members.
